Realtors are people too

I know it’s hard for some of you to believe…

But, Realtors are people too.

Like you, they have dreams of their own.

More time with family, more life experiences, and a bigger business that better funds their lifestyle. 

Also like you, they don’t like people begging them for referrals and constantly calling them to “check-in” or invite them to coffee.

They like to be treated like a person… not a business.

The fact is that they need a Loan Officer to get their commission.

But, they send their clients to the LO who treats them like a person… not a Realtor.

In a world where every Loan Officer is “marketing”… they all look like someone who wants money.

Be the Loan Officer who treats Realtors like people.

If you want to be successful in business, you need to always be on the lookout for what is rare. If you have the rare thing that everyone wants… you will always be on top.

So, what’s rare now?

I’ll tell you what is NOT rare… Everything that all the other LOs are doing.

Realtors are getting bombarded with phone calls, emails, homebot partnerships, coffee invites, happy hours, lunch-n-learns, etc. As a business person, you need to honor this fact and do something different. If you don’t, you will likely be clumped in with all the other LOs who spam them each week.

Yes, marketing keeps you “top of mind.” But, what is it that you are keeping on the top of their mind? The fact that you are just like everyone else?

We find ourselves in an interesting position in 2024. Loan Officers are running out of things to do that have not already been overdone. Artificial Intelligence is certainly not helping anything. Soon Realtors will be getting twice as much “value” thrown at them.

So, what’s rare? 

What can you do that everyone else is not already doing?

In an AI world, it will be human things that will become rare.

Dreams, aspirations, comradery, hobbies, joy, friendship, listening, feeling heard…

I know you were probably expecting a different list of words…

But, everything else has been done before.

Brand yourself as the Loan Officer who is a human… And then find other humans who happen to be Realtors to join you.
